ROSS County will be looking to continue their recent fine form when they play host to Dunfermline this afternoon. The Highland side have notched up three consecutive league wins and have lost just once since October. They took their good form into the Active Nation Scottish Cup last weekend when they scored nine against Stirling and now find themselves just six points behind Dundee with three games in hand. The two sides have only ever met six times in the league and, with two wins apiece, today

Dunfermline picked up their first league win in five matches when they beat Partick Thistle three weeks ago before being dumped out of the cup by Celtic last weekend. It is hard to envisage Jim McIntyre's side being involved in the title race this season as they trail Dundee by 15 points, albeit with three games in hand. With their next three games against the bottom sides in the league, Dunfermline will be hoping that three points today will breathe new life into their season as they look to go on a winning run between now and the season's end.
