Anger after Glasgow's George Sq igloo ruined

An igloo built in George Square has been ruined by a bypasser with a social media user capturing the moment on film.

The igloo was built on Wednesday night using snow that had gathered around George Square.

However, the design was ruined after video showed a man running and jumping into the structure in front of a news broadcast.

Social media around the city had been quick to praise the igloo with Glasgow City Council even tweeting updates on their social media accounts.

And users were quick tor eact once it had been destroyed.

One Twitter user wrote “This is why we can’t have nice things.”
