Sam Fender has confirmed he will headline Murrayfield Stadium in 2027 - here’s everything you need to know about tickets, presales and more.
Sam Fender has announced a huge show at Edinburgh’s Murrayfield as part of his 2027 Proper Massive Stadium Tour.
After teasing fans with a Lord of the Rings-inspired video on social media, the critically acclaimed singer-songwriter from North Shields has confirmed a 2027 UK and Ireland tour as well as his fourth studio album.
Including his Edinburgh show on Thursday, July 8 2027, Fender will perform in cities including Newcastle, Manchester, Cardiff, Dublin and London with support from Wunderhorse across the majority of dates.
Best known for songs including Seventeen Going Under, People Watching and the record-breaking Rein Me In with Olivia Dean, Fender has released three studio albums to date, including the Mercury Prize winning People Watching from 2025.

When will Sam Fender perform in Edinburgh? All of his 2027 UK and Ireland tour dates - including Murrayfield
Sam Fender will perform at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh on Thursday, July 8 2027. It will follow shows in cities including Newcastle, Cardiff, London and Dublin, with Fender to head to Manchester for two nights after.

When do Sam Fender tickets go on sale?
General sale for Sam Fender tickets will begin at 9.30am on Friday, October 30. These can be purchased from sites including Ticketmaster.
Hoping to get your hands on tickets? Here are a few tips to help you secure a spot at a show:
- Sign up for an account with your preferred ticket site well ahead of the sale beginning, or, if you have an account, make sure you are logged in
- Regardless of if you have made a new account or are using an old one, making sure your card/payment details are correct and up to date is key to a faster checkout
- If using a site such as Ticketmaster, join the waiting room which will open around 15 minutes before the sale starts
- Make sure that you are somewhere with a stable internet connection and avoid any VPNs. Before attempting to buy tickets, it may also be worth clearing your browser cache to avoid any technical issues
- Lastly, use only one browser tab and device when attempting to purchase ticket. Not following this advice could see you booted all the way back to the end of the queue
As well as standard tickets for the Murrayfield show, there will be various hospitality packages and some travel options also available.

If you don’t fancy chancing your luck with general sale, there will be Sam Fender presale to help you skip the queue.
Fans can pre-order Fender’s upcoming fourth album from the star’s official store before 9am on Monday, October 26 or, alternatively, fans can sign up here to register for the presale which will begin at 9.30am on Wednesday, October 28.
Emails with the presale access code and ticket link will be issued by 8pm on Tuesday, October 27.
There is a maximum of six tickets per person.
Who is Sam Fender’s Edinburgh support act?
For all of his upcoming stadium tour, excluding Dublin, Sam Fender will be joined by Wunderhorse.
The critically acclaimed British alt-rock band are known for songs including Midas, Leader of the Pack and Purple. They have previously performed in Scotland during TRNSMT Festival.
