Changing Room Chat: Reid goes Global in the Philippines

FORMER Ayr United manager Brian Reid is the new boss of Philippines champions Global FC.

The former Rangers and Morton defender was Somerset Park manager for five years, but walked away after Ayr’s relegation from the First Division last season. Now he’s opted for a life-changing move to Asia to take charge of ambitious Filipino club Global.

Global FC chairman Dan Palimi said: “His experience will give the club a lot of confidence. This club has never had a coach with the calibre of Reid.”
