Police probe after two women found dead in Stranraer home

Police are investigating after two women were found dead in a home in Stranraer.

The discovery was made at a property on Glenwell Avenue.

Officers were called to Glenwell Avenue on Thursday afternoon, where the bodies of the 38 and 37 years-olds were found, but police say there are no suspicious circumstances.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Two women, aged 38 and 37, were discovered dead within a property on Glenwell Avenue, Stranraer around 3.55pm on Thursday 6 May.

"There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the deaths and a report has been sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
