70 motorists fined near Loch Lomond

The road to Rowardennan Beach at Loch Lomond was blocked with parked cars on Saturday with police issuing fines to 70 motorists. PIC: Richard Webb/geograph.org.

The cars were parked on Saturday on the road between Balmaha and Rowardennan and posed a risk to others, police said.

Officers were called to the beauty spot to help Stirling Council staff enforce parking regulations, with pictures posted on social media showing cars blocking the popular route.
