A spokesperson for the UK Government-run operator said: “Over the past few weeks, we have been releasing a different journey each week on the LNER YouTube channel.

“It is the first time the films have been shared in their entirety with our social media audiences, who have once again helped select this week’s film by taking part in an online poll.

“They offer viewers the chance to enjoy some of the country’s stunning scenery from the comfort of their own home as we continue to reinforce our ‘stay at home’ message and focus on keeping key workers and those for whom travel is essential on the move.”

Other routes on the LNER YouTube channel include London King’s Cross to Leeds, Leeds to Harrogate, Edinburgh to Newcastle and Edinburgh to London King’s Cross.
