Horse put down after collision with motorbike
A HORSE has had to be put down after a collision with a motorcyclist.
The motorcyclist was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following the incident on an unclassified single-track road in the Highlands.
The blue and white Suzuki motorcycle struck the horse at about 6.15pm yesterday on Springfield Road Brae between Culbokie and Balblair.
Police in Dingwall are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the motorcycle prior to the collision or horses on the roadway at this location.
