£200 stolen in burglary

A PENSIONER was left shocked after seeing a man robbing her house, a court has heard.

The 87-year-old woman returned to her home in the Grange area of Edinburgh and saw that a front window had been smashed and there was a man in her living room. She then found that 200 in cash and a passbook had been stolen.

Five days later, an 18-year-old woman living in the same area was the victim of a similar housebreaking.
