Printmakers' art goes on show at National Gallery

A FREE exhibition on the art of printmaking is to be shown at the National Gallery of Scotland in Edinburgh.

The Printmaker's Art exhibition presents around 30 works selected from the gallery's collection of artists' prints.

An artist's print is made by drawing not directly on to paper, but on to another surface.

The display includes iconic images by Durer, Blake, Rembrandt, Goya, Piranesi, Hogarth, Toulouse-Lautrec, Whistler and DY Cameron.

The free exhibition runs from 20 February-23 May.
