Police believe the CCTV footage shows the woman at about 7pm on Sunday evening in the Glenmore Shop and Pinemartin Bar, a popular tourist shop and bar in the Glenmore area.

Officers appealed for information from anyone who knows the woman or has information about her movements.

She is described as white, aged 40 to 60, 5ft 6ins to 5ft 8ins, of stocky build with brown hair with blonde streaks.

The woman was wearing a black jacket, black jeans, a white blouse and pink high top trainers.

She had distinctive fingernail artwork which is alternately coloured in bright pink and bright blue with diamante gems.

A police spokesman said: “If anyone knows the woman in the images, or has information about her movements, they are encouraged to contact Police Scotland on 101.

“Officers can quickly process names in relation to the inquiry, so if you do think that there is any possibility that the woman is somebody that you know, please get in touch.”
