Police probe after body found in burned-out vehicle in Renfrewshire
Police have launched an inquiry after a body was uncovered inside a vehicle destroyed by fire at Inchinnan Business Park on Sunday afternoon.
Police are investigating after a body was found inside a burned-out vehicle in Renfrewshire.
Emergency services were called to Inchinnan Business Park on Sunday afternoon, where the fire had broken out on Brownsfield Road.
Police Scotland said the blaze was extinguished before a body was discovered in the vehicle.
The area was reportedly sealed off while officers carried out enquiries.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 2.40pm on Sunday, November 1, police received a report of a vehicle fire on Brownsfield Road, Inchinnan.
“Emergency services attended and the fire was extinguished.
“A body was found within the vehicle and enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing.”
