The couple run Home Farms in the Highland capital and came up with the concept to distribute meals to those in severe hardship.

Local churches rallied round to assemble a team of volunteers to deliver the food with Highland Homeless Trust acting as over co-ordinator.

Home Farms has once more donated the mince while local businesswoman Catriona Cameron of the Mustard Seed and Kitchen restaurants has teamed up with fruit and veg supplier Magnus Swanson to donated the potatoes, onions and carrots.

Volunteers from the Church of Scotland parishes at Crown, Croy, Dalcross, Inshes, Ness Bank, St Stephens, Barn and Cawdor Church, along with Culloden Baptism Church, St Ninians Catholic Church and Reverb Church, will cook the food with Highland Homeless Trust co-ordinating the overall efforts.
