Whitestripes Road B997: Man in hospital with serious injuries after a crash involving a car and a motorbike

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a crash on the B997 in Aberdeen.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash which happened on Thursday, February 25 at around 6.50pm.

The crash involved a KTM motorbike and a Mazda CX-7 car on Whitestripes Road at its junction with the B997.

The 36 year-old motorcyclist was taken by Ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where he is being treated for his injuries.

Hospital staff describe his condition as serious.

The male driver of the Mazda and his female passenger were uninjured.

Constable Callum Kerr, from the Road Policing Unit said: “Our investigation into this crash is continuing and I would ask anyone who witnessed this incident to contact us.

"I would also ask anyone driving on Whitestripes Road at the B997 junction shortly before 6.50pm who has dash-cam footage to come forward.”
