"I’ve never had such a lovely experience, it was very special.”

Nick is an experienced sea kayaker, and in 2015 kayaked around the coast of Scotland to raise money for the RNLI.

On Sunday, he was returning from a camping trip on the Isle of Rum when he encountered the dolphins.

Nick was surprised at the huge response to the video, which has been viewed thousands of times.

It was retweeted by Deputy First Minister, John Swinney who wrote: “Stunning. Incredible footage of the natural beauty of Scotland.”
