The Voice: Falkirk's Craig Eddie tops chart with self-written song

New Carron singer Craig Eddie has shot to the top of the UK iTunes chart – less than 24 hours after winning The Voice.

Craig sang his own track, Come Waste My Time, in Saturday night’s live final as millions watched the 23-year-old claim victory and secure a professional record deal.

His heartfelt performance hit the right note with viewers as thousands have downloaded the single – putting the former Greggs worker in atop the iTunes chart ahead of Nathan Evans’ Wellerman (Sea Shanty) and All You Ever Wanted by Rag'n'Bone Man.
