Scottish dairy rewards 'champion farmer' after their delivery lorry was stuck in the snow during Storm Darcy
Graham’s Dairy have thanked the local farmer George Whyte from Fraserburgh in Aberdeenshire for his ‘incredible act of kindness’ after he rushed to the rescue to help a milk lorry.
The lorry was stuck in the snow during Storm Darcy, and Police Scotland had already arrived at the scene to help.

"I immediately offered my services, working with the amazing police officers who had already been on the scene for over two hours.
"The snow was so thick and the conditions gradually worsening, but thankfully with the help of my plough it only took a few minutes to get the Graham’s driver and his truck to safety.
“Although I really did not help to receive anything in return, I am absolutely delighted they kindly dropped off a fantastic goodie bag to my house.”

“From one farmer to another, we are incredibly grateful to George and the two police officers that helped our driver get the milk delivered to our customers in such treacherous conditions.
"As a token of our thanks, we dropped off a goodie bag packed with our dairy products”.
This milk lorry wasn’t the only one to struggle during the snow and ice that Storm Darcy hit the country with.
