Scotland's most eligible men - #12: Stuart MacLennan, 24, Labour candidate for Moray and Secretary of Young Scottish Labour

At 21, he didn't just have the key to the door, but was knocking on the portals of Holyrood too by becoming the youngest Labour candidate in Scotland.

Now, his gift of the gab means he's the secretary for Scottish Young Labour, having been praised by Greenpeace for his environmentally-friendly policies.

"I'm not one of those people who desperately crave the need to be with someone," he says, which might explain why he's still single. This is one politician that definitely has our vote.

Dream date? The one that catches you by surprise, the type of date you don't see coming but you find yourself clearing your diary for.

Greatest achievement in life? Being the youngest Labour candidate in Scotland at the next election. I grew up and went to school in Moray and it's one of the most beautiful parts of the country.

Dream job? To do a Phd in International Trade and Law.

Turn on? Creativity in the broadest possible sense; artistic, musical, intelligence. I like people who are creative in their thinking as well as artistically.

Turn off? Self-importance and aloofness.

Single and celebrating? I celebrate being single.
