Prisoner series set for remake

SIR Ian McKellen and Jim Caviezel will star in the network's remake of the 1960s cult series The Prisoner, ITV said yesterday.

American film star Caviezel will take the role of Number Six, while Sir Ian will play Number Two.

The six-part series is expected to premiere next year.
