The residences, named New Eidyn, developed by Native Land, comprise 152 premium apartments and will complete in 2022.
The first release of more than 30 apartments sold principally to local buyers, however it has attracted steady interest from national and international buyers.
Prices range from £350,000 for a studio apartment to over £1 million for three-bedroom premium apartments.
Nicholas Gray, sales and marketing director at Native Land, said: “We are delighted with the interest we have seen in New Eidyn so far, having sold out of the first phase and more than 20 per cent of the apartments.
“The response we have seen highlights how ready people in Edinburgh are to experience a new type of living, as New Eidyn strikes an unparalleled balance with natural beauty and outstanding views, and the buzz of living right in the centre of a UNESCO world heritage site.”
New Eidyn is located on the fifth to eighth floors of St James Quarter. The beautifully crafted apartments reference Edinburgh’s classical interiors, but with contemporary flair, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and natural materials such as stone worktops and wooden flooring.
The residences include several hotel-style amenities including underground parking, ground floor reception and concierge, 24-hour security and membership rights to the W Edinburgh hotel’s gym.
All residents will benefit from unique private ‘sky gardens’ on the fifth floor, which will offer outstanding, panoramic views to the Firth of Forth.
The development also features a light-filled spacious Garden Room with exceptional views for relaxing and entertaining, which includes a meeting room and kitchen, to provide a relaxing space away from the bustle of city life.
Residents who move in will be just steps away from the mixed-use development with over 80 new brands, restaurants and bars, and a boutique Everyman Cinema on their doorstep.
The second phase of the development is available to buy now through sales agents Rettie & Co.
