My Life in Clothes: CBBC presenters Dick and Dom

THE childrens’ TV duo share their fashion favourites.

What’s the last piece of clothing you bought? Dom: A very tight jacket, as I still kid myself that I can fit into the kind of clothes that I wore when I was 21. Dick: A jumper, as we are about to film outdoors for our CBBC series Absolute Genius.

Best ever bargain? Dom: My CAT boots. They last and last. Dick: A leather jacket that has, so far, done me five years.

Who has great style? Dom: Dick – ha!

Name your favourite high street shop? Dom: Zara menswear, as their pieces are affordable, durable and look sharp. Dick: Ted Baker.

What are you addicted to buying? Dom: Dermalogica products, so I don’t get a saggy face. Dick: Dog food.

Any fashion disasters you’d care to tell us about? Dom: I used to love tartan trousers in the Nineties. I was trying to look like Chris Evans. Dick: Anything I wore in the early Nineties.

What’s your favourite item in your wardrobe? Dom: Moth balls. Dick: I like my suit, but I don’t get the chance to wear it very often.

• Dick and Dom have joined the Royal Horticultural Society panel to judge the RHS Young Photographer of the Year Competition, to inspire under 18s to get creative in the garden. The winners will be announced at the end of October, see www.rhs.org.uk
