“Please keep both pupils & their families in your thoughts & prayers. If any pupil requires support at this very difficult time please contact your PC Teacher.”

The school has said that neither death was related to Covid-19 and they offer their full support to pupils at this time.

The school’s catchment area includes Cardonald, Ibrox and Mosspark.

Schools across Scotland are reaching out with support for staff and pupils, with Ibrox Primary School saying: “Sending our love to the families and school community” and St Thomas Aquinas in Edinburgh saying: “So very sorry for your loss. Thoughts and prayers are with you all.”
