Injured Andy Murray out of Western & Southern Open

Andy Murray has pulled out of next week's Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati because of an ongoing hip injury.

The world No 1 has not played since his Wimbledon quarter-final loss to Sam Querrey on 12 July.

Murray said in a post on his Facebook page Wednesday that he is working hard to be fit for the US Open, which starts on 28 August.
