Half of parents in Scotland say not enough support for dads
More than 140 parents were polled in Scotland as part of a UK wide sample of 2,037.
27 per cent of those surveyed said they have a stronger relationship with their children than their partner does.

Hide AdPaul Carberry, Director of Children Services Action for Children Scotland, said: ““To ensure no parents are left out there should be a joined up approach from antenatal sessions to early year’s activities and it is clear that parents think more needs to be done to include fathers as part of that.”
Action for Children Scotland has a number of services specifically aimed at fathers. These include Young Father’s Network, Dundee Families, Clacks/Stirling Parents Achieving, Children & Communities Thriving (PAACT) and Upper Nithsdale Family Service in Dumfries and Galloway.
