Glencoe: 40-year-old man killed in fall from Buachaille Etive Mor

A man has been killed after a fall while climbing.

A climber has been killed in a fall from a mountain in the Highlands.

The 40-year-old man was climbing Buachaille Etive Mor in Glencoe with a companion when he slipped and fell on Saturday.

Police were called at around 11.15 am.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed "There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal."
