Five Sisters Zoo: Family attraction advises visitors to steer clear due to icy weather

The Five Sisters Zoo near West Calder posted on social media: “We do not advise visiting the zoo today as the smaller roads around the zoo will be difficult to pass and could be dangerous.
“The car park is covered in snow as are all the paths within the zoo.

The zoo has remained open for West Lothian residents who wish to walk outside and see the animals, and have allowed free entry to all visitors as long as they adhere to social distancing.
Locals are allowed to visit for free until January 3, excluding New Years day after initially offering it for Boxing Day alone.
Voluntary donations can still be made to the zoo on entry however.
