A five vehicle crash has closed the A1 near Dunbar as emergency services attend the scene.

The incident occurred about a mile from the Dunbar Asda roundabout, and the road is closed south bound.

Police confirmed that they received reports of the crash around 12.20 pm on Thursday and that there is no word yet of injuries, though ambulances are on the scene.
