Dougray Scott preparing for second shot at marriage

HOLLYWOOD star and Hibs fanatic Dougray Scott is to get married for the second time.

The Mission Impossible star popped the question to his girlfriend, actress Claire Forlani, in Los Angeles last month.

"I feel so lucky to have met her. She's an amazing actress and human being. I'm very happy," Scott told People magazine.

The pair are said to have met around ten months ago, around the time of his divorce from first wife, Sarah Trevis.

Scott, 40, who was born in Fife, has become a Hollywood heartthrob thanks to parts in Mission: Impossible II and Enigma.

His latest role sees him playing Teri Hatcher's new love interest Ian Kavanaugh on Desperate Housewives.

Scott, who was named Stephen Scott but used his French grandmother's name, Dougray, was married to casting director Sarah Trevis in April 2000.

They already had twins, a boy and a girl named Gabriel and Eden, who were born in 1998.

Scott's film career started in 1997, in the black comedy Twin Town, set in Swansea.

He then went on to star in a number of Hollywood films.

But he is as known as much for his other great love, Hibs.

He once said: "I do love Hibs but I didn't mean it to get out of hand. People have this image of me dreaming about the lineup for the next game. It's not like that."
