Diehard Hearts fan gets photo tattooed on leg ahead of Scottish Premiership title decider against Celtic
Kevin hopes his tattoo will bring Hearts good luck
A diehard Hearts fan has had his team’s success this season immortalised in a touching tattoo as he waits to find out if they will go all the way to be crowned champions.
Kevin Doc went under the needle to celebrate a long run of the Edinburgh team topping the league table. And now he hopes it will bring an extra bit of luck as he prepares for the title decider against Celtic today.
His tattoo depicts a photo of his grandson Kai, 12, jumping on his back at Tynecastle during a game against Celtic earlier in the season.

“He jumped on my back and my daughter Ashley just happened to catch the photo,” said Kevin, who has been a Hearts fan all his life.
It’s not Kevin’s only Hearts tattoo, with the father of two and grandfather of two also having been inked with a photo of himself walking hand in hand with Kai and his sister Ava, eight, at Tynecastle.
“I’m just so proud of my kids and my grandkids, it’s all about them and we’re massive Hearts fans so I thought it’d be a good one to get,” he said.

To see his team lift the Scottish Premiership trophy would “mean so much” to Kevin, who still carries scars from 1986 when Hearts lost to Dundee meaning the title went to Celtic on goal difference.
“It has been 40 years of hurt and that will be gone if we win,” said Kevin, who will be watching the game from a pub in Tollcross.
“I was there in 1986 and it’s just been hurting ever since. That was hurt and this could change that.
“I just want to say to Hearts to just do it. Just do it for us and do it for the city.”
