Christine Scott: Urgent appeal for missing pensioner with dementia after she is last seen in her home in Edinburgh

An urgent appeal has been launched as 76-year-old Christine Scott goes missing from her home in Edinburgh.

Update – Christina has been found safe and well.

Christine has dementia and was last seen at her home on Polwarth Gardens in the Capital at around 7.30am on Wednesday.

She is believed to have walked away from her home eastwards in the direction of Bruntsfield.

Christine is described as being 5ft 4in tall and of slight build with grey bobbed hair.

She was wearing a grey hat, dark blue jacket with white stripes on the hood, grey trousers and light shoes.

Christine is described as vulnerable.

Inspector Lindsey Hammond of Drylaw Police Station said: "We are carrying out enquiries in an effort to locate Christine.

"I would ask anyone who believes they may have seen her at any time today to contact police as a matter of urgency.W

Anybody with any information should call the police on 101 quoting incident 1637 of October 21.
