Changes to Stagecoach bus services

Following a revision to the Stagecoach network in Aberdeen City and West Aberdeenshire on October 31 last year, Stagecoach Bluebird will make further adjustments to some services to address customer feedback and improve service performance.

The changes will be in place from Monday 30th January

The timetable changes come following a review of the feedback received from customers and staff, as well as analysis of passenger journey trends and traffic conditions across the routes.

There are no significant changes to service frequencies or the areas covered by the routes. The changes are designed to provide a more dependable service which better reflects the traffic conditions in and around Aberdeen city centre.

Additionally, services 9, 10, X20 and 35 will no longer serve the Manor Drive bus stop heading towards Aberdeen on the A96. Customers can still board these services at Auchmill Terrace or Haudagain By-Pass stops.

The new timetables will be in place from Monday, January 30 and are now available to download at www.stagecoachbus.com/service-updates.

Full details of changes are as follows:

4 (Aberdeen – Westhill) – The terminus will be relocated to a new stop adjacent to Countesswells Park Road (there are no changes to the stops served). The weekday journeys at 14:00 from Union Square and 14:47 from Countesswells will no longer operate. 9 (Aberdeen – Inverurie) – This service will now serve all stops on its current route within Aberdeen, to provide additional options for customers. Additionally, service 9 will no longer serve the Manor Drive bus stop heading towards Aberdeen on the A96. Customers can still board at Auchmill Terrace or Haudagain By-Pass stops. 10/B/C (Aberdeen-Elgin-Inverness)- this service will no longer serve the Manor Drive bus stop heading towards Aberdeen on the A96. Customers can still board at Auchmill Terrace or Haudagain By-Pass stops. X20 (Aberdeen – Alford) – Revised journey times to better reflect traffic conditions. No significant changes to service frequency. Additionally, service X20 will no longer serve the Manor Drive bus stop heading towards Aberdeen on the A96. Customers can still board at Auchmill Terrace or Haudagain By-Pass stops. 35 (Aberdeen-Banff-Elgin) - this service will no longer serve the Manor Drive bus stop heading towards Aberdeen on the A96. Customers can still board at Auchmill Terrace or Haudagain By-Pass stops. 37 (Inverurie town) – Revised journey times which will provide improved connections to services 9 and 10 in Inverurie town centre. 41 (Inverurie – Insch) – Minor revision to journey times. 411 (Alford-Insch) - Minor revision to journey times.
