Cooper and his band are bringing their Hallowe’en Night of Fear tour to the UK.

And they have revealed they are saving October 31 for a special show at Edinburgh’s Usher Hall, where they will be supported by Loaded and Ugly Kid Joe.

But fans willing to shell out a little bit extra – £318 over and above the cost of the £40 ticket, to be precise – could find themselves Caught in a Dream with a VIP access pass that gets them a host of exclusive treats such as a picture with Alice, signed memorabilia - and even a chance to appear on stage. These kinds of all access passes are becoming a more common way of encouraging fans to attend live gigs by offering them a unique experience. The aim is to stop the trend of illegal downloads taking a significant chunk out of labels and recording artists bank balances.

Madonna’s July concert at Murrayfield also offers a “premium” experience, including a champagne reception, a three-course meal and a post-show party. While ticket cost is included in the £375 price, a meeting with the Queen of Pop is sadly, not included.
