Over the years, we have seen many celebrities come out and publicly declare their support of the Ibrox club - and here are the most famous ones among the lot.
5. Sir Sean Connery
The late Sean Connery was once a Celtic fan but is said to have switched allegiances. According to former Scotsman journalist and ex-Labour media advisor Simon Pia, the former James Bond changed sides because he once phoned Celtic asking for free tickets to an Old Firm derby and was told no by Fergus McCann, Celtic's managing director. David Murray, the then Gers chairman, immediately sent out a pair of complimentary tickets and invited Connery as a guest of Ibrox club. Photo: Photo: Getty Images
6. Marti Pellow
Wet Wet Wet singer Marti Pellow is a lifelong Gers fan, who used to make the short trip to Ibrox Park regularly as a young boy growing up Clydebank. Photo: Photo: Getty Images
7. Chris Evans
Virgin Radio breakfast show host Chris Evans became a Rangers fan when his good pal, Paul 'Gazza' Gascoigne, played for the club in the mid-90s. The pair would go on huge benders after matches, and were never out of the tabloids for their exploits. Photo: Photo: PA
8. Andy Cameron
Scots comedy legend Andy Cameron is, by his own admission, Rangers-daft. He used to do a stand-up act before matches at Ibrox, and was once attacked by an Aberdeen fan who ran from the away section to assault him as he performed a routine on the pitch prior to kick-off. Photo: Photo: SNS
