I READ with interest the story regarding Toronto mayor Rob Ford’s latest outburst (your report, 15 November). The picture shows him in a blue sports jersey, with the caption: “Rob Ford, dressed in an American football jersey.”

I am sure our Canadian cousins would not like this, as it is the jersey of his home-town team the Toronto Argonauts, who play Canadian football – which has different rules to their southern neighbours’ sport.
