Letter: Top pruning

The cuts to NHS staff in Scotland will be composed of doctors and nurses (your report, 11 April). I understood the cuts were to be from the unproductive administrative staff. Is is asking too much for the administrators to cut their top-heavy staff and leave the hard-working medical staff to get on with their jobs.
