National Museum of Scotland unveils 10 new galleries
The £14.1 million project will see the museum install over 3000 objects into four galleries of decorative art, fashion and design and six galleries of science and technology.
The galleries will be completed on the 150th anniversary year of the Victorian building, which was first opened in 1866.

This appeal is supported by long term supporter and renowned author Alexander McCall Smith, who said: “This fundraising appeal is the last vital step towards the realisation of a vision which will see ten new galleries brought to life.”
The new galleries are due to open on Friday, 8 July 2016.
