Man, 34, dies after road crash on the A82 near the Erskine Bridge


Police received a report at approximately 5:05pm last night that a man had been ‘struck by a car’ on the A82 westbound at Duntocher.
Emergency services attended but the 34-year-old male pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
The male driver of the car was uninjured.

Hide AdA 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with road traffic offences and enquiries are ongoing.
The road remains closed as crash scene investigators carry out enquiries at the location.
Sergeant Paul MacPherson said: “An investigation is under way to establish the circumstances of this incident and I am appealing for anyone who was in the area around the time it occurred to contact us.

Anyone with information is asked to call Road Policing Officers via 101, quoting incident number 2255 of Monday, 23 November, 2020.
