Footballer's family visits death scene

THE family of football star Gordon Lennon, who was killed in a freak 4x4 off-roading crash, made an emotional visit to the scene of the Dumbarton captain's tragic death yesterday. A fatal accident inquiry is being held into the death of the 26-year-old during a "fun day" on a Highland estate. He was electrocuted following the smash.

A large party, including family members of Lennon, travelled to Brahan Estate.

The inquiry was also attended by Lennon's fiance, Kelly Dempsey, who gave birth to their son Kai five months before the footballer's death.
