Scotland’s weather: Snow forecast for mountains
MIDSUMMER snow is set to hit Scotland’s mountains this week, according to forecasters.


The Met Office is also forecasting frost for some Highland glens on Thursday, with temperatures set to plummet to 3C.
The unseasonal icy weather comes barely seven days after parts of the north west Highlands experienced temperatures of around 30C.

Hide AdBBC Scotland weather presenter Gillian Smart said that the frost would be ‘short-lived’.
Daytime temperatures in Scotland later this week are expected to be cooler than the start of the week, with highs of around 16C forecast.
