Dog walker stunned to find wallaby hopping about in Scottish countryside

A dog walker was left stunned after she came across a wallaby hopping about in the Scottish countryside.

Carly Meaney was out dog walking close to the North Third Reservoir, near Stirling, when she spotted the animal eating grass yesterday morning.

She videoed the marsupial, native to Australia, as it hopped closer towards her.

In the footage the animal appears to be tame as it edges closer towards her.

After the extraordinary sighting the dog walker called SSPCA but said little could be done after the animal ran away.

Since sharing her video on Facebook, the wallaby has been reunited with its owners who live at a nearby farm.
