Dukla stars help raise cash

Dukla Pumphertson, the celebrity football team which constantly raises money for charities, recently played against some aspiring disabled athletes who are fundraising for the Special Olympics.
The match was played at Broadwood Stadium, and raised over £1000 to help the athletes with their costs.
Jason Methven, head coach of West Scotland Special Olympics, said: “The guys involved loved the big match experience and it was good to see them tested against ex pros.
“I’m not sure of the score as I think we were all too busy enjoying the occasion.
“It was a fantastic day and Dukla Pumpherston were fantastic with the guys encouraging and praising their good play.
