Don’t turn us intoa backwater town
It has been organised by resident Gina Logan, who has regularly spoken out against the long-mooted Cupar North development that would see 1400 houses built, together with a bypass, running from near Gilliesfaulds to the trading estate.
Ms Logan has been an active opponent of the plan - being led by a consortium of developers - and has been approached recently by a “large number” of local people with similar concerns.

Hide AdShe said this week: “I now feel it is in the public’s interest to call a meeting of all those interested in making their voice heard on this issue which might turn Cupar into a building site for the next 25 years.”
She has invited anyone with worries over the development “which could change the character of Cupar and turn it into a by-passed backwater,” to attend the meeting in the Howe of Fife clubrooms, Provost Wynd, Cupar, at 7pm.
