Cyclists dies in road fall

A CYCLIST was killed in a fall from his bike on a Highland road, police said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene after crashing on the A830 north of Arisaig at about 7:30pm on Saturday.

Police, ambulance staff and a doctor came to the scene and the road was closed for more than four hours.

Northern Constabulary appealed for witnesses to come forward.
