Woman's body pulled from pond near Glasgow hospital

Officers are not treating the woman’s death as suspicious.

A woman’s body has been found in a pond in Glasgow.

Emergency services were called after the body was seen in Bingham’s Pond at about 10.20am today.

Officers are not treating the death as suspicious and enquiries are ongoing.

A police spokeswoman said: “At around 10.20am on Thursday, 23 July, 2020, the body of a woman was found in Bingham's Pond in Glasgow. Emergency services attended and enquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the death. A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal. At this stage there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death."
