Woman, 60, dies after being struck by car in Glasgow

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police in Glasgow are appealing for witnesses and dash-cam footage after a woman died following a car crash.

The 60-year-old pedestrian was struck by a Blue Nissan Qashqai car on Culrain Street, around 1.40pm on Tuesday.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service.

Constable Lewis Owen, of Police Scotland's Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are with the family of the woman who sadly passed away.

“As we continue our investigation into the full circumstances of what happened, we are appealing for anyone who may have information to come forward.

“We are also appealing for dash-cam footage that may assist our enquiries.

“If you can help, please call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2021 of Tuesday, March 10 2020.”
