Video shows police dogs enjoying the snow

While the snow has gripped many parts of the country, it brought some light relief for Police Scotland's dogs.

PD Vinnie helped catch a criminal in the snow.

On the Police Scotland Dogs twitter account a video of the dogs enjoying some ‘night shift fun’ was shared with members of the public.

The video captured PDBodie PD Chance and PD Heidi enjoying some time in the snow.

But it has not been all play for the police dogs.

The social media team shared a picture of PD Vinnie who helped catch a house breaker in Paisley.
