Three arrested after drugs raid at Fife industrial unit

Police have arrested three men after £185,000 worth of drugs were found at an industrial unit.

Officers said they seized 600 cannabis plants and 240 seedlings at the unit in Station Road, Auchtermuchty, on Friday.

Police raided the Fife property after receiving a report of a strong smell of cannabis coming from within.

Detective Sergeant Jim McGuinness said: “We are committed to targeting those who deal in drugs with a view to preventing the harm they cause in our community.

“We will act on all intelligence we receive from the public. Anyone with information is asked to contact us on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

The three men arrested in connection with the incident are expected to appear at Dundee Sheriff Court on Monday.
