Teenagers among four charged with attempted murder over train station stabbing

A 16-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl are among four people charged with attempted murder after a man was stabbed at a train station.

Officers were called to Hamilton Central Station in South Lanarkshire after a man was stabbed on the platform at about 9.20pm on Saturday.

The victim remains in hospital with serious injuries following the attack.

Police said the two teenagers, along with a man and woman, both aged 31, were arrested this week and have now been charged with attempted murder.
