Star of BBC series The Scheme in heroin plot trial

A STAR of BBC TV series The Scheme is to stand trial charged with plotting to sell heroin.

Dayna McLaughlin, 21, allegedly had a stash of the drug with intent to supply it in Stevenston, Ayrshire. She faces an alternative charge of possessing the Class A substance at the same time and place in April.
