Seven-year-old girl dies after being pulled from River Braan in Perth and Kinross
A seven-year-old girl has died after being rescued from the River Braan in Perth.
The girl, and a 26-year-old woman were taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee for treatment.
The seven-year-old was pronounced dead in hospital.
Police said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Officers said their inquiries are ongoing, and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
A spokesperson for the force said: “ A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.”
